Roanoke, Virginia VA - This auction is for a Tokai DLX2004 electric guitar. This guitar sounds incredible and plays smoothly up and down the neck. The pickups were upgraded to a Lace Sensor Alumitone in the neck and a Gibson pickup at the bridge. The action is fairly low and you may want to set it up to your own specs when it arrives. The neck is nice and straight and the guitar is in good condition. There are some nicks and dings here and there like a small chip at the bottom of the body and another small chip at the very top of the headstock. There are some scratches and small marks but nothing major. I've owned this guitar since new and it's been played hundreds of hours so a little wear is normal. The electronics all work properly. The tone pots could use a little cleaning but everything's in good working order. This thing really has an incredible tone. It has a solid mahogany archtop body that gives it great sustain. The guitar will be shipped with a Fender padded gigbag and packaged professionally. It'll ship by UPS within 23 days once your payment has cleared. Thanks for looking and good luck!

1980 Aria Pro II LS800 Les Paul Copy with original Dimarzio Super DistortionsImmaculate Matsumoku made 1980 Aria Pro II LS800 Les Paul style guitar. All original including the 1980 Dimarzio Super Distortions (steel braided wiring) & mint condition black leatherette gig bag! 1 Piece mahogany back (NOT a pancake & you do not see 1 pieces that much except for on high priced Gibson Historic etc), looks to be a 3 piece rock maple '59 neck (trust me the neck feels and sounds great), 2 piece 1/2 thick solid maple plain top, nice dark chocolate rosewood board (possibly Brazilian?), real mother of pearl inlays, fret edge binding, and an Aria style long tenon. LOADS of original fret life left and I would say it has about 1520 wear with some VERY mild dimpling on frets 15. A couple of small marks that are very hard to capture in the photos on the back of the guitar (NO buckle rash at all! Just a few little dents at the lower part of the body) and 2 small ones on the top that were all there when I bought her. She has loads of great tone, sustain, and vintage wood vibe! You can find it in the 1995 Tokai catalog. List price in 95 was 32,000JPY which was at the high end of the AST models.Very attractive Metallic Blue finished body and headstock. Rosewood board. Nicely figured hard rock maple neck .Very good plus condition. Clean with some minor scuffs and dings. One pretty good knock through the finish on lower treble bout where someone set it down a little too hard. Strat style contoured body.Two single coil pickups along with a humbucker. Five way selector switch. Single volume and tone controls. Tremelo tailpiece but missing the arm.All original. Great sound and playability typical of the high quality Tokai put into all its guitars.
