Dimarzio Virtual Vintage 54 Pro Electric Guitar PickupSan Benito, Texas TX - DiMarzio Virtual Vintage '54 Pro Electric Guitar Pickup MINT!This pickup was purchased new some three months back for a project Strat I was working on, believing the guitar needed new electronics, but I managed to get the stock pickups working, so I never used this pickup, I just took it out if its original packaging for inspection but never actually placed it on a guitar; It hasnt been used.I never used this particular pickup before but I have used other DiMarzio pickups and can say their name is synonymous with quality and tone!Bottom line, this pickup is in perfect working order, never been used, and comes with original packaging, screws and paperwork!According to the companys website: Virtual Vintage 54 Pro has a warm, smoky sound, fattens up when you pick hard, and has a special grade of Alnico 2 magnet to reduce string pull. Like all of the Virtual Vintage models, its dead quiet.Recommended For: All positions The 54 Pro has a fatter, woody tone, and the sound almost seems to compress when picked hard. Blues players favor this type of sound for the way it fattens up solos, particularly in the bridge position. Its also good in the neck and middle positions to warm up brightsounding guitars.Theres a lot of info on this pickup so I recommend you go to Youtube or the DiMarzio ...Click Here To Read More ....
